About
Emma Gasson set up the good design company in 2006.
After graduating in conceptual visual communication and working briefly in London she relocated to Cornwall.
Based near beautiful Watergate Bay (above) The good design company currently shares an office with a new Biotravel company,
Explore South West.
In 2005 a design produced by Emma won an international competition. The brief was set by an influential New York designer Stefan Sagmeister to see if design could 'touch someones heart' in the same way a film or book can. After winning the competition, Emma spent time in New York being mentored by Stefan. She hopes to return there sometime
in late 2008 to work in his studio on an internship.
The good design company grew from a belief that design can and should be used to add something positive to the world around us. In Cornwall especially, people run their businesses in a considerate and responsible way and need a design company which reflects that.
